- Your head stays put. No more drop-and-jolt.
- Arms rest in a built-in sling, not off the armrest.
- Padded blackout mask. Screens and reading lights, gone.

60-Day Deep Sleep Guarantee
Use it on your flight there and your flight home. If you don't sleep better, send it back for a full refund.
What's in the box
A padded head band with the blackout mask attached, a built-in arm sling, and a travel pouch with a clip. The Couples Pair has two full sets, one for each of you.
How it attaches
Wrap the adjustable straps around the airplane headrest and click the buckles shut. Set the padded band at your forehead, drape the sling over the headrest support and slide your arms in. About 30 seconds, no tools, nothing permanent.
Will it fit my seat?
It fits airline seats with an adjustable headrest that has a gap behind it, which most long-haul economy and premium seats have. Some older or budget seats have fixed headrests. If it doesn't fit, send it back within 60 days and we cover the return shipping.
Shipping & returns
Worldwide shipping on every order, with tracking. 60-day full refund, no-hassle returns.
Every overnight flight
He's asleep in ten minutes. You're staring at the seatback for nine hours.
You doze off for a second. Your head drops. You jolt awake. Again. And again. Honestly, you're not sure if you slept at all or just stared at the inside of your eyelids all night.
Then you land, and day one is just… gone. Walking around like zombies. Asleep at a café table by four. Snapping at each other over nothing, on the trip you saved for.
And it gets a little harder every year.
If you've decided you're just not a plane sleeper, keep reading. It was never you.
What you've already tried
You did everything you're supposed to do
- The neck pillowThe airport one, the memory foam one, the fancy wrap one. Your head still falls forward through the gap.
- Sleeping pillsA few foggy hours, then a groggy first day. And your head still drops.
- The window seatUntil your neck kinks against the wall. And he usually gets the window anyway.
- A rolled-up sweaterSlides off twenty minutes in.
- Premium economyMore legroom. Same wake-ups.
The real cost isn't one bad night. It's the first day of a trip you planned for months. The anniversary dinner you're too tired to enjoy. And you only get so many of these trips.
The real reason
It's not you. Your head has nowhere to go.
When you fall asleep, your neck muscles relax. That's just what sleep is. In bed, your pillow catches your head. Sitting up on a plane, nothing does.
- 1. You drift off Your neck muscles let go, like they're supposed to.
- 2. Your head drops Forward or sideways. Nothing's there to catch it.
- 3. You jolt awake Your body snaps you back. A minute later, you drift off again.
On repeat, all night. You never get to deep sleep.
Why the neck pillow never worked
Think of your head like a bowling ball balanced on a broomstick. Awake, you hold it up without thinking. The second you doze off, it tips.
A neck pillow hugs the sides of your neck. But your head falls forward, straight through the gap. And once your chin drops to your chest, that's often when the snoring and the open mouth start.
So every fix you tried was aimed at the wrong thing. The seat sits you upright with nothing to hold your head, and the travel aisle keeps selling you things that hold your neck.
The business-class secret
Everyone sleeps in business class. It's not the champagne.
The flat bed holds your head, so your neck can finally let go. That's the whole trick.
Researchers at TU Delft who study sleep in airplane seats put it plainly: in upright seats, “the head will often fall forward during sleep.” And recline studies keep finding the same thing. The further back the seat goes, the longer and better people sleep.
So the answer isn't a softer pillow, or a stronger pill. It's letting the seat hold your head, the way the bed does.
We call it Seat-Carried Sleep
Selvvo anchors your head to the headrest from the front, at your forehead. When your neck relaxes, the seat takes the weight, not your neck.
No drop
Your head stays upright and centered while you sleep.
No jolt
Nothing tips, so nothing snaps you awake.
Chin up
Your chin stays off your chest. Fewer snore-and-drool moments.
Meet Selvvo
Three parts. One job: hold you while you sleep.
The head band
Straps around the headrest and holds your head at the forehead. You drift off, your head stays put.
The blackout mask
Padded, with room for your eyes. Screens, reading lights, the window shade three rows up: gone.
The arm sling
Your arms rest across your chest instead of hanging off the armrest or getting bumped by the cart.
The travel pouch
Rolls up and clips to your bag. No foam horseshoe dangling through the airport.
Set up in about 30 seconds
Strap, mask, arms in, lean back. Practise once at home and you'll have it down.
The difference
Neck pillows hold your neck. Selvvo holds your head.

I bought this product for both myself and my husband before a 16 hour flight. We both have tried many different travel pillow types over the years and none have actually lived up to the hype. This one does! No more head bobbing when falling asleep! It is completely soft and holds your head securely in place comfortably. It adjusted easily to fit our heads and the head rest on the plane. We both got more sleep than we have before and even both didn’t wake during the mid flight snack service. I will be donating all of our other tested pillows as we finally found a winner.
My wife use this. She’s 100 pounds tiny head this work perfect for long flights to Tokyo and Vietnam from Texas. She loved it.
Wonderful for my seven hour plane ride to London. Takes a little bit to set up, especially when you’re trying not to get in other passengers’ space. Definitely worth it. I stayed asleep for hours at a time knowing my arms weren’t going to flop around. You can make the mask nice and tight. It is very dark inside. It was easily portable offered decent support for the arms and both pieces were comfortable. I paired this with a leg/ foot sling and it was probably the best way to elevate a coach seat on a long flight.
I want to join the chorus of positive experience with this sleep sling. It was easy and quick to set up, the eye mask is high quality, soft, and complete light blocker. The sling is soft and comfortable. I’m a head nodder and my mouth will fall open which usually causes me to wake up on longer flights. On my 10 hr flight, I was able to relax fully and was so nestled in, I stayed asleep. It accommodated my Bose noise cancelling headphones with ease and comfort. For those who like to burrito or cocoon when they sleep, this product is a must. I used it as a pillow when zipped up and it was soft and a great neck or low back/lumbar support. All components are soft and feel good on skin. It comes with a carabiner and attached to my personal bag with ease.
This item allowed me to get 3-4 hrs sleep on a 7 hour middle of the night airplane flight. I’ve never been able to sleep on an airplane with the other neck pillows. The flight had their running lights on for at least the first 30 minutes, so these completely blocked the light for me also. I had to adjust it a bit to get the right fit. Worked for me!
This helped me so much! Flew 30 hours. To Europe, Middle East, Africa and home over the North Pole. Easily placed it on my seat. It kept me from head bobbing in my sleep. Blocked noise and light, was very comfortable and soft. Nothing can replace laying in a flat bed but I snoozed deep whereas travel companions did not. Flew all those hours in coach.
You want this. This saved us on a trip from the U.S. to Japan to The Maldives and back! It makes sleeping possible on a plane! The sleep mask part is really soft and comfortable (cozy even!), and all parts are adjustable for fit with the velcro style design. Has its own travel bag - i just roll it up and tick it away inside. I thought it was a bit silly when my husband found them... but i will never travel again without it! Replaces my neck pillow and sleep mask...I add earplugs to really seal the deal. Sweet dreams!
I’ve taken this on several international flights. I flew on several different airlines and it worked for most seats (Swiss Airlines was a notable exception). I was able to stay upright and sleep for up to 3 hours at a time. A couple of small negatives notes are: - The mask’s materials made me head and eye area feel very warm when I was woke up, which was a but uncomfortable. I hope there’s a future interation with cooling gel. - It was not easy to roll up the mask inside the included travel case. I gave up on that thing and used a different travel bag for my mask.
I’ve tried more travel pillows than I care to think about. Most are bulky and take up too much room in my bag. The blowup ones are not comfortable to me, and the “bobble head” action on long flights is real. I thought I’d give this one a try. The first thing that I noticed is that the eye mask can be worn independently of the neck support. That’s a plus. However, to use the neck support, you need to wear the eye mask. That’s a minus. Sometimes I just want a neck pillow while I’m watching a movie on a plane. The eye mask is fully adjustable and very comfortable as there is fabric surrounding the whole head and no elastic, which tends to make my ears hurt. I may be wearing this as my regular eye mask! I’m not a fan of the forehead signs, but I might sing a different tune on a 12-hour flight early next year. Everything rolls up nicely and has a storage pouch -- although I may sew a “flat” pouch to lay this in flat for more packing options--like slipping into the front pocket of a carry-on bag. The roundness of the storage bag makes it a little bulky, but you can compress it. I did try setting this up in a chair. It’s a little unwieldy to get in and out of, but I think some of that is due to the location of the headrest on my chair. I am concerned that being short (5'2") my head will be too low in the chair for this to be practical. We’ll have to see once I get on a plane.

What the 1 to 3-star reviews complain about, and how Selvvo handles it
- Crew rulesSome airlines ask you to take off anything strapped to the headrest, at least for takeoff and landing. Selvvo's mask detaches and works on its own, and you have 60 days to decide.
- Seat and height fitFixed or short headrests, and some shorter travelers, made it hard to get a good fit. If Selvvo doesn't fit your seat, we cover the return shipping.
- DurabilityA few reviewers had a strap or buckle break. Selvvo is covered by the 60-day guarantee.

Questions
Before your next overnight flight
Will it fit both of us? I'm short and he's tall.
The straps adjust around the headrest and the band sits where your forehead is. Many airline headrests also slide up and down, so you can usually find a comfortable position. If it doesn't work for either of you, send it back within 60 days and we cover the return shipping.
Will it fit my airline seat?
It fits seats with an adjustable headrest that has a gap behind it, which most long-haul economy and premium seats have. Some older or budget seats have fixed headrests. If it doesn't fit your seat, send it back and we cover the return shipping.
Will flight attendants let me use it?
It doesn't change the seat. It just straps around your own headrest with removable buckles. Rules vary by airline and crew, though: some ask you to remove it for taxi, takeoff and landing, and a few don't allow anything strapped to the seat at all. It comes off in seconds, and the mask still works on its own.
Won't I look a little silly?
A little, honestly. But it's 3am and everyone on that plane looks silly. You'll just be the two who are asleep.
Will it make my neck stiff?
Leave a little slack in the straps so your head rests at a slight, natural angle instead of being held bolt upright. With your arms supported in the sling, your shoulders can relax too.
How does the mask attach?
The padded mask attaches to the head band with hook-and-loop, so it stays put while you sleep and gives your eyes room. You can detach it and use it on its own at the hotel.
Is it bulky to pack?
No. The whole set, sling included, rolls into its own pouch with a clip. It takes up a fraction of the space of a U-shaped neck pillow.
What if it doesn't work for me?
You're covered by the 60-Day Deep Sleep Guarantee. Use it on your flight there and your flight home. If you don't sleep better, or it doesn't fit your seat, send it back for a full refund.
